A client who had been wearing crochet faux locs for a while came to me to start locs but did not want to start them with the 5 inches of natural hair that grew from her head. The solution?
Starter locs with extensions.
We used about 2.5 bundles of Afro kinky bulk human hair to create instant loc extensions and palm rolled her roots as the method of maintenance. The locs were to be medium/shoulder length and her sides and back were shaved.
It took the most of 6 hours to achieve however I think the result received 5 stars from not just her, but her biggest fan: her husband. 🥰
